Free & Reduced Program

• Meal applications will be available online starting July 31, 2023.
• Please visit SchoolCafé or download the free mobile app to your electronic device to apply.
  If you do not have access to Internet, we have paper applications available, please contact the Child Nutrition Department at (281) 574-6152.
• Applications must be renewed each year.
• Only one application is required per family.
• You may apply for benefits at any time throughout the school year.
• The program is based on family size and income levels set by USDA.
• Students are required to pay full price for all meals until applications are processed and approved.
• All charging policies apply to students that are applying for free meals until the time of approval.
• Eligibility notification will be sent to all households via email and home with the student within 10 days of application.
• Please note that the Texas Department of Agriculture does NOT consider an individual milk purchase as part of the National School Lunch Program. Only when the student takes an entire reimbursable tray is the milk component free. If a student takes an individual milk with no meal tray, the student/parent will be required to pay $0.50 for the milk purchase.

Full Price Lunch K-12 - $3.50 - Adults $4.75
Reduced Price Breakfast K-12 - $0.30
Reduced Price Lunch K-12 - $0.40
