Musical Theatre

5th Grade Music: This is a two-semester course designed to give 5th graders a functional education of music as a whole. The course consists of music theory and music history as well as vocal and instrumental training.

8th Grade Musical Theatre: This is a two-semester course designed to give 8th graders an insight into the world of theatre, both on-stage and backstage. This class also focuses on reading music, unison, and part signing, as well as why music can elevate a play. Musical theatre consists of theatre history, improvisation, technical design, musical expression, and culminates in the spring musical.
